What is Creative Schools?

This two-year child-led programme enhances the creative potential of every pupil by stimulating curiosity, communication and collaboration. Since 2018, we have supported more than 1,000 schools to become Creative Schools.

The programme is led by the Arts Council in partnership with the Department of Education, the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport & Media and Creative Ireland. Creative Schools is part of the Creative Youth Plan.
